A Hall of Famer in Our Midst

The pleasant news is out.

Gord Cupskey was inducted into the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame as an associate member at the annual banquet and ceremony held in Williamsport, PA on Labour Day weekend (one of the special events held during the DCA weekend.)

His selection reflects his considerable achievements and service to Scout House over the past 15 years. These include playing trumpet, selecting, arranging and teaching music to the Band and Silver Leaves, being drum major, designing and teaching the field show drill, teaching the Cadets, winning the DCA mini corps championship as a member of Ghost Riders.

All in the the Scout House family are justifiably pleased and proud that Gord’s contributions have been recognized by the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame. His selection reflects well on all of us.

Congratulations Gord, Scout House now has 7 members plus Wilf Blum in the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame.
